Rebekah On A Mission

Hey friends! There are so many exciting things happening this fall that I’d love to share with you! As you can see the newsletter style has changed. I have officially created a blog website so I can more easily share updates with you and personal testimonies! I hope that you will subscribe so you can continue to receive updates from me regularly.

School is off to a great start! We have officially completed Quarter 1 and it’s been a smooth transition into Quarter 2. I have gotten to share a lot of God stories and testimonials with my students. It’s been amazing to see God move in their hearts and minds and see so many prayers answered. Thank you for partnering with me in prayer! I can see the fruit of God working in my own life and in my students as well.

Here’s a cool story to show a little of what God has been doing. One of my students was having panic attacks at school since day 1 of classes. The other teachers and I spent weeks in prayer for her as this ongoing issue was affecting her health, well-being, and her capacity to learn. It was so challenging to see our student and her family go through this challenging time. God has been so good and faithful to walk with us and the family through this season of her life and we have had the opportunity to minister to them in incredible ways. I had the opportunity to share with her and the rest of her class about how the Lord created us and how he gave us our identity and purpose. The Lord was so good and faithful to use what I shared in her life. After weeks of praying and warring for her, the panic attacks have decreased and she is starting to live and walk in peace.

There are two exciting opportunities coming up for me this November. I have been invited to attend a YWAM conference the first week of November to connect, network and learn from others in missions and ministry. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to meet others in missions and gain relations. Please pray that the Lord’s will will be done during this time and that I receive what the Lord has for me in it. The second opportunity is a mission trip to YWAM South Texas at the beginning of Thanksgiving break. I will get an opportunity to serve at the base while they host a team. We will have opportunities to serve the community in the McAllen Texas area. South Texas is a place on my heart and I am so excited to be going back. Please pray for those in that area so they can come to know the Lord. Pray for those hearts of those we will encounter that they will be open and ready to receive all that the Lord has for them.
